En stor vin av Nebbiolo fra Valtellinadalen (ideelle vekstkår for Nebbiolo). Sforzato har en Amaronelignende tilvirkningsprosess, men Nebbiolodruene gir Sforzato en fantastisk rik og langt mer kompleks struktur enn i en Amarone. Ettersmaken er karakteristisk og tøff. En stor vin i seg selv og et godt Sforzato-kjøp i denne prisklassen. Produsenten Plozza (Brusio i val Poschiavo, på sveitsisk side av grensen) er forøvrig en liten produsent, men vel verdt å legge merke til. De produserer vin av høy kvalitet på druer fra Valtellina, i hovedsak Nebbiolo. - Dice

Detet er en Kjempe herlig vin for en bra pris. Synes den er god til grill og ikke minst biff. heldig vis så er det forebyggende mot hjerte og kar sjukdommer å drikke vin=) - Dice

OK Kim. jeg har forandret på teksten til vinen iom at det er så mange som synes den er god, men ta også i betraktning at det er 6 år siden jeg smakte den og at den kan ha forbedret seg mye på disse årene. - Dice

Skjønner ikke hva du mener med "hold dere unna". Er ikke noe spesiellt rødvinsfan selv, men denne er en vinner! Har testet ut forskjellige vinder med denne flasken har jeg tømt så mang en gang! Den er lys og fin, gir ikke hodebry dagen etterpå heller. Det eneste jeg har å utsette på denne flasken er at den rommer en hel liter, som for min del er akkurat for mye. Jeg anbefaler en 0,75 flaske, :) Jeg gir den en 6, ettersom min smak tilsier at dette er den beste rødvinen jeg vet om. Jeg drikker den faktisk akkurat nå og tenkte jeg skulle google den for morro. Da havnet jeg her, :D - Dice

The Afincado Cabernet Sauvignon is the iconic wine of Bodega Terrazas de los Andes, and for good reason. Gorgeous dark garnet color. Nice shades of purple. Looks very mature. Nice tints of red and orange. Great legs. Soft aroma-pepper, spice, plums, cherries, and herbs. Quite interesting and complex. Very smooth. Acidic, but very controlled. Nice body-very developed, full, and round. It has a fantastic, spicy, long finish. It also has some nice smoky and toasty overtones, in addition to the spice. - Dice

The Bressia Profundo 2004 is by far one of the best wines in the country for the price. It may not be Bressia''s icon-level wine, but it is superior to numerous Argentine iconos that I''ve tried nonetheless. First things first: The Profundo is a blend of Malbec (highest proportion), Cabernet Sauvignon (2nd highest), Merlot, and Syrah. It''s Bressia''s middle-range wine, though it''s still pricey by Argentine standards. It has a beautiful, ruby color, with red and orange tints. It also has a strong, dirt aroma, which makes it smell very fresh. There are also numerous fruits in the nose, especially plums, along with some pepper. The taste is strong, though not overpowering. The wine does have great complexity though. It starts with the strong oakiness of tannins and a lot of fruitiness. But it also picks up a smoky spiciness, especially in the finish. - Dice

The Catena Malbec is a great wine for the value. You can find better Malbecs at the price, but almost never abroad. The Catena Malbec has a nice, dark, ruby color. It''s apparently on the older side, since it has so many purplish reflections. A floral and especially oaky aroma is prominent. It goes down very smoothly. The tannins are rather soft, giving a soft, smooth oakiness to the wine, especially in the finish. The wine causes a nice puckering feel. It is a bit too intense and somewhat one-dimensional. - Dice

The Vistalba Corte B by Carlos Pulenta is a fantastic wine, especially for the value. Color is ruby, but somewhat light-seems young. Nice legs, especially for a middle-quality wine. Fruity, soft, and floral aroma. Like picking fresh fruits, or fresh rain. Aroma is also very strong. Very full-bodied and very complex. Its a great combination of flavors-oak, coffee, and spice. Very bold, especially with the spice. One of the nicest qualities of this wine is the balance. Its not too fruity, and it really brings in a lot of nuance for a Malbec. - Dice

Nice ruby color but young, with few overtones, especially of darker colors. Light on the aroma. There is a subtle smell of fruits and rocks, but its very slight. Interesting taste. The wine is acidic, bitter, smooth and light. Not overpowering at all. Still, its one-dimensional in terms of flavor, emphasizing a bitterness oakiness that is rather bland. Good value though - Dice

Although the Gran Lurton Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva lacks different hues, it has a very nice, intense ruby and garnet color. Great aroma-Chocolate and nuts just burst out. A tad of spice too. The taste is pretty good, too, especially considering the price. It has a soft start, with some subtle fruitiness. The fruitiness is nicely balanced by a nice nuttiness and a stronger tannin taste. Very smooth, especially on the finish, which is oaky and tangy, but which is a little lacking in acidity for my taste. - Dice
